A Career of Helping Families
Background in Education
I have a bachelors, two masters, and doctoral degree from the University of South Carolina. I began my career in 1993 as a teacher and coach in Greenville County. In 2003, after completing my doctorate, I became an administrator and served in both high school and middle schools in the midlands and upstate. In 2011, I was selected as principal to open a new high school in Powdersville. Over the course of the next 11 years, Powdersville became one of the top academic and athletic schools in the state. Prior to retirement, I served as the Director of Middle and High Schools in Anderson School District One.
Experience in Real Estate
I have been a real estate investor for many years. I received my SC real estate license in 2019 and became a full-time agent with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services/C Dan Joyner Realtors in 2023 when I retired.
Why an Agent with Experience Matters
During my years as an educator, I have met many families relocating to this area. Whether they were interested in top academic schools, athletic programs, or public school alternatives, they needed help navigating state, local, and district policies. Coming to a new state often means a completely different educational experience. Having a realtor by your side that understands the educational system is a great way to ensure you have the best information to make a great decision for your family. If you decide to work with me, I will help take the guess work out of choosing the best school for your family.
